  • : A general purpose goss paint based on a modified alkyd resin

  • Principal Characteristics

  • : particularly suitable as a finish for boottop, topside, deck and deck-equipment


    : a quick-drying, hard, tough, water and weather resistant coating with moderate glass retention, both in sunlight and water-immersion


    : can be applied over intact existing conventional systems, on Asmiramarine undercoat and on suitableprimers, such as Asmiramarine ALU primer, Asmiramarine primer ZP or Asmiramarine primer RL depending on the location


    : good adhesion properties in wet and dry exposureconditions


    : this coating is particularly suitable for areas intermittenty exposed to water-immersion and atmoshpheric conditions

  • Solid content

  • : approx. 49.53% (colours) - 49% (white) by volume

  • Recommended dry film thickness

  • : 35 mm per coat

  • Theoretical spreading rate

  • : 15.1 m2/litre (colours) - 14.0 m2/litre (white) for 35µm on smooth, non absorbant surfaces

  • Touch dry after

  • : 1 hour


  • Overcoating interval

  • : minimum 16 hours at 20 ˚C, 12 hours at 30 ˚C


    : maximum no limitations; provided surface is cleaned

  • Shelf life (cool and dry place)

  • : atleast 12 months

  • Flash point

  • : 36 ˚C

  • Recommended substrate conditions and temperature

  • : Previous coats; free from any contamination


    : The temperature of the substrate must be at least 3 ˚C above dew point
